Shacket Trend- OOTD

Happy week between Christmas and New Years where time doesn't really exist.😉 It is the perfect time to do nothing and become one with the couch. The holidays are my absolute favorite but there is something so wonderful about the time when they are all over too. Its almost like your break to hit the reset button and suit up for the year to come.

Anywho... I finally got behind this shacket trend that everyone is raging about right now. I was a bit hesitant at first because I was worried about being too hot or bulky but honestly this is the perfect winter running around outfit. You have the warmth of a jacket without all the bulk. And they look just like a flannel which you know I love- just with a little pit of extra softness. There are so many good ones out there too- many beautiful colors and patterns.

My secret for this one- its a mens! This particular one caught my eye for its basic colors. The black is beautiful with this dull gold color. It comes in a couple other colors too. Personally I sized down in this from my usual medium to a small-remember it is mens sizing. I think it is still oversized enough for me but not bulky. If you like that super oversized look, you may want to keep your true size.

I paired it here with an all black look underneath it-distressed black jeans and a black tee but I think it would be adorable with a graphic tee under it too or even with leggings. There is definitely is enough length to wear it with leggings and still have your booty covered too. So many cute options with this look. Its on rollback at Walmart right now too and under $17. I am certain these will sell out quickly!
